17 km east of Kasserine. Rare animal species populate this park made up of Aleppo pines (mouflons, mountain gazelles, wild cats, but also jackals and wild boars). In total, 24 species of mammals and 16 of reptiles and amphibians, as well as regional plant groups (100 species). It covers more than 6,000 hectares and contains the highest peak in Tunisia (1,500 m altitude). The park is completed with an eco-museum. Facilities aim to develop its attendance in an educational and tourist. Cultural vestiges (old oil presses and lead mines) could be better highlighted.
