The remote village of Penshurst is rarely visited by tourists. It is located in the middle of nature, a stone's throw from the beautiful Hitoy-Cerere Biological Reserve, also unknown to travelers but whose impressive biodiversity is a treasure. It is part of the Amistad Park Biosphere Reserve and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. With a mountainous relief, the reserve is very rainy and has many waterfalls and rivers. Fortunately, the area is not shunned by all travelers and wildlife enthusiasts are happy to visit Penshurst and its park
