The remote village of Penshurst is rarely visited by tourists. It is located in the middle of nature, a stone's throw from the beautiful Hitoy-Cerere Biological Reserve, also unknown to travelers but whose impressive biodiversity is a treasure. It is part of the Amistad Park Biosphere Reserve and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. With a mountainous relief, the reserve is very rainy and has many waterfalls and rivers.
