The Caledonian Inn, dating back to 1844, is, for example, the oldest hotel in Victoria. The Moyne River faces Griffiths Island, a protected area that can be reached through a pedestrian path. A little further, Ocean Drive offers a superb view of the ocean. Several beaches are close to the city.
