This beautiful white sand beach, not far from the mangrove, is known to be one of the best surfing spots on the coast, for beginners and advanced surfers alike. It is not by chance that it has been nicknamed "the little Hawaii". This beach, like its neighbor Playa Negra, is much more preserved than Tamarindo further north; constructions are rare and scattered. It is also much less frequented. The landscape suddenly changes and we get back to the wild nature of the Pacific coast, which is not bad... A peaceful and relaxing destination, especially at sunset, not to be missed
