Playa Flamingo (one of the favorite beaches of tour operators) owes its fame to the tourist complex that has developed there. Previously known as Playa Blanca - which is what its beach is, white - Playa Flamingo almost became a rocky outcrop covered with pink buildings, which make small concrete gray at birth. Fortunately, overdevelopment has been avoided and the beach area retains a lot of charm (even though hotel facilities are not far away). It remains a rather posh beach with the prices that go with it... You will come across many sellers of coconut water.
