A former settlement, Prince William is a community of the eponymous parish and is located in York County, approximately 20 minutes west of Fredericton. Highway 2 (Trans-Canada Highway) runs through the community on both sides. The main reason for visiting is Kings Landing, a lively, historic re-created village. Open from June to October and on a few dates in December for the holidays, it is a true journey back in time to the 19th century. An open-air museum covering approximately 120 hectares, it features over 70,000 artifacts, 70 historic buildings, an animal farm and more.
