The only real town on the eastern side of the island, Juara is a quiet corner. With its two beaches, the village is much less crowded and cheaper than the rest of Pulau Tioman. The reason? All the dive sites are on the other side of the island. You can still see beautiful corals at the tip of the bay where the waters are deeper. The 2 km long ribbon of fine sand welcomes turtles that come to nest there.
