The 24 km2 of this park are ideal for a day trip from Kuching. Composed of a sandstone plateau with numerous waterfalls and a forest of fruit trees, palms and orchids, Kubah is home to a variety of fauna (roe deer, black hornbills, bearded pigs...) that is rarely seen. The forest is dotted with pleasant, signposted paths. Inside the park, the Matang Wildlife Centre houses endangered species in enclosures, including orphaned orangutans rescued from captivity and gradually reintroduced into their natural habitat, as well as sambars, crocodiles, bears, civets, panthers and birds.
