Ecomuseum dedicated to rural life and the folk arts and traditions of the Perche region, housed in a former priory and open to visitors
Located in the former priory of Sainte-Gauburge dating back to 1006 (which is open to visitors!), the Écomusée is dedicated to rural life, and features over 10,000 agricultural, craft and domestic objects. You'll discover how apples are processed, farm tools and equipment, traditional crafts such as pottery and hemp weaving, and the world of the Percheron horse... The first floor is devoted to cider and calvados production, with presses and distillers. Educational activities and courses are also available.
