A spa hotel with a thermal center, restaurant and swimming pool in Caldes.
When the Puig de les Ànimes thermal spring was declared a public utility in 1883, the story of the famous Vichy Catalan sparkling water and spa began. It was Dr. Modest Furest i Roca, taking advantage of the beneficial properties of the thermal waters flowing here, who decided to build the imposing spa hotel, which resembled a temple to well-being, and was inaugurated on June 12, 1898. Today, the place still attracts a large number of guests in search of treatments or simply relaxation: 86 tastefully decorated rooms, a spa center (for treatments and body care, including hydrotherapy, body and facial aesthetics), a restaurant - the Delicius - with à la carte menus and service, a modernist private chapel, an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, playgrounds and a bicycle rental service... all framed by a 20,000m2 garden! If you don't have the opportunity to stay there, a visit to the spa is highly recommended, if only to enjoy the benefits of the water and discover this astonishing building from the inside. One of a kind!

La mayor parte de la estancia no tuvimos wifi. Fui a reclamarlo a la recepción y la chica que me atendió me hablaba como si le estuviera mintiendo cuando le decía que no teníamos wifi. Finalmente, envió al técnico, quien vino a la habitación, arregló el problema, pero más tarde nos quedamos sin wifi nuevamente.
La habitación era extremadamente húmeda y calurosa, además de no tener aire acondicionado. El técnico nos dijo que todavía no lo activaban por la época del año. Tuvimos que abrir las ventanas para poder dormir y se nos llenó de mosquitos por este motivo.
Las instalaciones del balneario eran muy justas, demasiado pequeñas para la cantidad de gente que había.
Por el precio que pagamos y el servicio que recibimos, no valió la pena en absoluto.
La estancia muy bien todo.
El personal muy atento.
