Historical site recalling the events of 1944 to 1945 in the region of Arnhem, Nijmegen and the Veluwe.
The Liberation Route traces the events that took place between 1944 and 1945 in the region around Arnhem, Nijmegen and the Veluwe. These fierce battles between the Allies and the Germans were decisive for the future of Europe. Little known to the general public, they nevertheless marked the history of the Second World War. More than 80 markers have been placed on the historical sites. You just have to call the number written on the terminal to hear the commentary. A description in Mp3 can be downloaded (in Dutch, English and German).
