A pleasant park, in English style and built according to the plans of Zocher, with many attractions and relics in Nijmegen.
This park is built on the site of a residence built by Charlemagne, which was called the "Falcon Tower" because Louis the Debonair, son of Charlemagne, had a falcon farm there for hunting. The palace, rebuilt by Emperor Frederick Barbarossa in the 12th century, was destroyed in the 18th century. This park, which includes many attractions and relics, is very pleasant. It was built around 1800 in an English style and according to the plans of Zocher, author with his son, of the famous Vondelpark in Amsterdam.
