Hotel with spa, air-conditioned pool and Catalan cuisine restaurant near the center of Puigcerdà and the ski resorts.

Located on the edge of the town, but just a few minutes from the centre of Puigcerdà, Hotel del Prado is one of the best places to spend the night. It offers 54 rooms (from single to suite) and a personalised service. It also has a large landscaped garden, a spa, an air-conditioned swimming pool open all year round, a tennis court and a restaurant serving Catalan cuisine. It is best to book well in advance, especially during the ski season, as the hotel is close to several resorts in the area.

Gran Hotel i Grans Persones treballant-hi. Volia agrair a tot el personal que la nostre estada hagi estat tant agradable en tots els aspectes, i donar les grácies especialment el personal de recepció, per la seva atenció, amabilitat i resposta en dir-los que havíem de marxar per un petit accident de la meva filla esquiant. Fuimos a comer al hotel, tienen un menu de 30€ que es de buena calidad, pero para mi gusto algo elevado de precio. Tranquilo, bien situado y con una zona del hotel para poder tomar una copa después, y una gran terraza muy tranquila. Buen local pero atencion a los precios.

This is a review for the restaurant only. The worst restaurant we have ever been to. It was so bad we left in disgust after only eating a starter, the main course being inedible (for example : chicken still raw in the middle). We had to pay 50 euros for this horrible experience. Never again. The deco is old and kitch, desperately needs an overhaul, and the undertrained staff are unhelpful and rude at best. You have been warned.
