ABBAYE BÉNÉDICTINE DE SALEM

Salem Abbey is famous for its gardens and its architecture, which blends styles ranging from late Romanesque to late Gothic. Over the centuries, Salem Abbey has played an important role as a religious, economic and cultural center. In the ^19th century, the abbey was dissolved and its assets seized.
