A small residence offering simple rooms with TV and air conditioning.

On the island of San Domino there are a dozen hotels, including La Pineta, a small family-run residence, which welcomes its guests in single rooms with balcony, equipped with TV and air conditioning (to be paid extra). Tranquility guaranteed, in the heart of the pine forest and five minutes from the beach. A good base for exploring the islands, reaching the coves (Cala del Sale, Cala delle Roselle) or going into the Mediterranean scrub along the paths. And what peace and quiet in the evening, once the tourists have left!

Ho prenotato tramite Booking 2 notti presso questo albergo, come termine di una settimana di vacanza sul Gargano, passando da Mattinata e Vieste. Purtroppo imprevisti familiari mi hanno costretto ad interrompere la vacanza già quando ero a Vieste, non potendo quindi usufruire dei due giorni già prenotati sull'isola. Premetto che avevo già pagato le due notti e che la prenotazione non era rimborsabile. Booking tramite l'app mi suggeriva di inviare un messaggio alla struttura per chiedere almeno un rimborso parziale. E così ho fatto ma la risposta è stata negativa. A questo punto la messaggistica di booking mi consigliava di provare a telefonare all'albergo e mi forniva il numero, Così ho fatto ma la sig.ra/sig.na che mi ha risposto molto sgarbatamente non ha voluto ascoltare più di tanto i motivi della mia rinuncia dicendomi: voi di booking fate sempre così prima prenotate e poi inventate delle scuse per disdire la prenotazione. Mah, noi di Booking? ... oltre al danno (di dover interrompere la vacanza) anche la beffa, per non dire l'insulto! Quando potrò riprogrammare la vacanza alle Tremiti sicuramente eviterò quest'albergo.
