Franciscan monastery with a collection of religious art, books, manuscripts and reliquaries. Rooms on site.
Just across the harbor from Preko, the islet of Galovac houses a Franciscan monastery dating from the 15th century. It preserves an interesting collection of religious art, works in glagolitic, manuscripts, reliquaries and goldsmith's art. Outside of the seminar periods, you can stay at the monastery for a retreat in one of the 16 rooms with a view of the sea cemetery. You can get information at the tourist office in Zadar or Preko.

un havre de paix
nous y sommes allés hors saison et c'était superbe : eau turquoise, vue sur les iles et sur la montagnes. L'ile est à 20 min de bateau de zadar! ce serait vraiment dommage de ne pas en profiter!
