Travel Guide Coronel Oviedo

There is a good chance that you will pass through the famous Coronel Oviedo roundabout during your trip. The capital of the department of Caaguazú is located in the heart of the eastern region, at the crossroads of the roads coming from the four cardinal points: Ruta 2 of Asunción, Ruta 7 of Ciudad del Este, Ruta 3 of the north (Concepción) and Ruta 8 of the south (Villarrica). It is a big city for Paraguay, with nearly 190,000 inhabitants and its rural areas, which lives from agriculture and trade. It is not of tourist interest, but has comfortable hotels in its surroundings. The bus terminal is located near the roundabout, outside the city centre. There are taxis and food.
