VOLANO

The mouth of the Po of Volano is an enchanting natural environment. The small reserve of the Oasi di Canneviè is a brackish wetland of 64 hectares, delimited at its ends by the two large marsh huts, Canneviè and Porticino, formerly used to store fishing tackle. It shelters rare birds in its reeds. The panorama that can be discovered from the observatories from which the birds can be observed is made up of the valleys of Comacchio, one of the most important marshy areas in Europe.
