In 1848 it was the centre of the Risorgimento movement and saw the birth and organisation of the anti-Austrian revolts. On the second floor there is an Egyptian room and another dedicated to the Italian wars of independence. The Pedrocchi is also known to be always open, it is a very good cafeteria where you can bite into delicious pastries, sandwiches or sip coffees and cappuccinos at any time of the day.

Nice terrace on Piazza della Frutta, for a break between two visits. A sure value.
