This historical theatre of the city of Padua, inaugurated in 1751 under the name Teatro Nuovo, was built at the request of the aristocracy of the city, anxious to have its own urban theatre. Restored in the second half of the 19th century, it was renamed Teatro Verdi. Recently renovated, it has a resplendent façade.
