Located in a peaceful area near the Ak-Bulak river, the Ethno Hotel offers a pleasant stopover. It combines the amenities and comfort of a 3-star hotel with the authentic charm of a boutique hotel. The tone is set as soon as you arrive: in the lobby and public areas, stone, brick, adobe, woodwork and delicately wrought tapestries are combined with a very sure taste. Rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The small swimming pool is a real bonus on hot summer days.

The Osh hotel located a little out of town, is the former Intourist of the Soviet era. But the reception has remained the same. The rooms are however ok (visit several of them: some have a small living room and a television and can be negotiated; others have very capricious warm water) and even offer a pleasant view if you are upstairs. But the rates are definitely too high (they still apply rates for locals and tourists here). Try to negotiate. A casino, a restaurant and a café are at the entrance of the hotel. Breakfasts are served at the restaurant and come as an extra charge of the room (100 to 150 soms according to the order).

The rooms are very comfortable, the bathrooms impeccable and the breakfast copious. Sportsmen and women make no mistake, many of them come here to enjoy a well-deserved rest after a trek or a climb. The establishment being set back from the street, the few takhtans in front of the entrance are a good spot to linger and get to know each other in the evening. The staff is very friendly and will do everything to make your stay as easy as possible. Swimming pool and parking for 25 cars is a nice plus. The whole thing is a 15-minute walk from the bazaar...

The little brother of the Sunrise Osh Hotel opened its doors not far from his elder brother. A comfortable establishment with its own 10 parking spaces and a restaurant offering lunch and dinner à la carte. In addition to its hotel services, Sunrise offers short and long term excursions and tours, à la carte or tailor-made.

It's been the meeting place for the jokers for years. The comfort is Spartan but considering the price, there is nothing to complain about. The atmosphere is warm and it is certainly the best way to meet other travellers and glean some useful information for the rest of the trip. The dormitories are on a human scale, with a maximum of 4 beds, but lack air conditioning in summer (only available in the apartments). During the season, the team schedules daily tours and organizes transfers to China or Tajikistan.

This very confidential hotel consists of two apartments located in a building behind the Russian bank (formerly known as the Promstoibank, for taxi drivers). Usually frequented by bank employees coming from Bishkek, there are often free rooms. Comfort is basic but it is central, and Fatima and Zukhra, who bought the business in 2016, have given the establishment a little freshness. Don't expect too much charm and decoration, but comfort will be there.

It is certainly the most pleasant accommodation in the city, but you should remember to book well in advance. The hotel is located in a beautiful single-storey house, close to the river. The rooms are tastefully decorated, all in wood, and perfectly equipped (bathroom, television, air conditioning...). A beautiful place is given to local crafts. Everything is impeccable and the staff speaks English. The guesthouse is surrounded by a large garden with an English lawn, part of which is shaded, under the vine, very pleasant in the hot hours.
