In Tamga, you will find all the charm of the other villages on the edge of the Issyk Kul: village atmosphere where everyone seems to know each other, pretty beach, mountains as far as the eye can see to the south... One difference however: the population here has remained mostly Russian. The only good reason to stay in Tamga, a few kilometers away from Barskoon, is to find an accommodation to do some treks in the area.
