Things to see and do Kommetjie

Long Beach is one of the most spectacular beaches in Cape Town: 8 km of powdery white sand. Located in the seaside village of Kommetjie, it is a fantastic destination for surfing and body boarding. There are many activities to do in and out of the water. The water is rather cold for swimming, but a small pond, "Kom", offers a safe bath for children. There are some nice walks to do, one of them passes a well preserved wreck, Kakapo. If you like horseback riding, you can also have a good time.
