LE TOUR DES LACS D'AYOUS
This hike is one of the most pleasant and easy in the Ossau valley. Families with children can do this without worry. Well tagged, it gives you the national park of the Pyrenees and takes you through different landscapes: plains, woods, torrents, rocky slopes and of course lakes upon arrival. The path is dominated by Pic's peak of Midi. Hiking takes you to the bridge of Bious and then to Lake Roumassot, the small lake of Miey that you will longerez by the right to reach the refuge. Here you can turn around and go down by the same road, or spend the night, or continue the loop. To do this go beyond the refuge, to reach the largest of the lakes, Lake Bersau. Walk along the left and then go down to the lakes Castérau and Paradis. Here you will join the Plateau plateau. The landscapes facing the peak of the Midi are magnificent. To go to the peak of Ayous, you must take, before the refuge, a trail that climbs to the north-west towards the pass of Ayous and then the summit.
