Museum retracing the author’s life in four rooms, starting with her childhood
The Comtesse de Ségur, née Rostopchine, made the Domaine des Nouettes her second home from 1821. It was here that she wrote her fairy tales and novels. Although the museum is not located in the château (now a medical center), you'll find this lovely museum nearby, which retraces the author's life in four rooms, starting with her childhood. There's also a room dedicated to Les Petites Filles modèles, and another to La Fortune de Gaspard.
