Media library located in a listed church
Listed as a Monument Historique, the church was built in the 17th century and houses the Médiathèque Aveline, whose splendid 18th-century woodwork is a marvel to behold. The site also boasts a unique heritage of works on Basse-Normandie: 57,000 documents, including the collection of the Count of Liesville, 728 manuscripts, 137 medieval editions, 26 incunabula and the original, pre-censorship edition of Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du mal.
