SCÈNE NATIONALE 61
Scène nationale organizes programming for theaters in Alençon, Flers and Mortagne-au-Perche
Alençon's first theater dates back to 1828, when it was housed in the former Sainte-Claire convent. The new theater, built in 1970, was awarded the "scène nationale" label in 1990. It offers a highly eclectic program: theater, opera, dance, cabaret, circus, puppetry, music... in three venues: the theater in Alençon, the Forum in Flers and the Carré du Perche in Mortagne, as well as in third-party source venues. The program can be viewed on the website. Tickets are available online, at tourist offices and at the Flers cultural center.
