The Canal Canal (Avgustowskiy Kanal) passes north-west of Hrodna. This wild and wild corner will delight all lovers of nature and active tourism, especially aquatic ones. Visit the Nemnova Lock in the namesake village. Next to the lock is the red brick house of Madame Zažeckaia. This house was built in the early th century to host the lock guards.
