69 km east of Tata, this pretty town is endowed with a beautiful palm grove, where life flows slowly, far from any agitation. Here you can visit the house of Charles de Foucault, who stayed here during his reconnaissance of Morocco, before creating his famous hermitage and dying in Algeria, near Tamanrasset. On the way out of Tissint, don't miss the salt water cascades of Aqui. These form a reservoir where you can bathe, in preference to the other body of water where the animals drink. There are also many rock carvings in the area. On the main avenue, there are many small local restaurants.
