Travel Guide Alougoum

A pretty little village with an impressive kasbah, beautiful fortified and preserved houses, lanes lined with adobe walls and lush gardens thanks to abundant water. Located between Imzil and Lamhamid, the crossing of Alougoum marks an important stage during an epic journey in the desert of south-east Morocco. The surrounding landscapes are surprisingly rich, although repetitive, they promise a clear horizon and dotted with some mountainous reliefs. Although filled with only a few sedentary souls, this small remote village still hosts a hotel where, in this desert corner, the prices defy all competition!
