Seen from the outside, it is an imposing kasbah in excellent condition. The inside, however, will certainly seem disappointing. Built in 1776, it belonged to the descendants of the Glaoui, who left it abandoned. It now houses a restaurant. You can, on reservation, attend Berber folklore shows. From the terrace of the kasbah, a sumptuous view spreads out over the whole valley of the Ouarzazate wadi bordered by its date palms. Storks, a sacred animal in Morocco, have built impressive nests there by their size and solidity.
