About ten kilometers from Ouarzazate, this traditional Berber village is known for its kasbah, which has been used several times as a set in films. Seen from the outside, it is an imposing kasbah in excellent condition. However, the interior will certainly seem disappointing. Built in 1776, it belonged to the descendants of the Glaoui, who left it abandoned. It now houses a restaurant. From the terrace of the kasbah, a sumptuous view unfolds over the entire valley of Ouarzazate wadi lined with its date palms. Storks, sacred animals in Morocco, have built impressive nests there by their size and their solidity.
