We recommend that you stay in one of our friendly, four-bedroom, two-bathroom inns. For meals, bring your own groceries or buy ready-to-eat meals on site. Saguenay Aventures is the new entity that brings together OrganisAction (adventure tourism), the Fjord and Whales cruises (excursions aboard a 48-passenger Zodiac) and the Hors-Circuits boutique (outdoor equipment sales and rentals). Whether you want a canoe-camping expedition, an eco-safari in the forest, a whale-watching cruise on the fjord, a dog-sledding or snowmobiling excursion, everything is possible, including customized packages. For a few hours or a few days, there is something for everyone!

The boreal forest is a great playground for outdoor enthusiasts and this company understands that. Its flagship activity is the Boreal Safari tour aboard a Pinzgauer, an all-terrain vehicle that is robust enough to venture into the backcountry. The three-hour tour takes you through the Périgny Valley. A must! We can also put on our boots to discover the famous Amazon waterfall. For a gentler adventure, a therapeutic forest bath inspired by the shinrin-yoku is just right.

A pioneering sailing school in the Belle Province, Voile Mercator has been offering courses and excursions for over 40 years. We offer introductory excursions of 3 or 7 hours, or a private 21-hour overnight experience. Courses at various levels, theory courses, private training, regatta courses and even convoying experiences are offered by Voile Mercator. If you already have your certificate, you can rent a sailboat with or without an instructor to sail the fjord.

A reference for an introduction to sea kayaking in the sublime setting of the Saguenay Fjord and the St. Lawrence Estuary. You can choose from guided excursions lasting from 2 hours to 6 days. Please note that multi-day excursions are guaranteed with a minimum number of participants, although some have guaranteed departures on fixed dates. Other services offered: lake kayak and paddle board rentals for navigating the bay, sea kayak training (levels I to III) and navigation on the Saguenay Fjord.
