L'étincelle is a bar-club in Diego that fills up quickly on weekends. Very good atmosphere from 11pm, where the place often turns into a disco until the end of the night! A must-see spot in Diego's nightlife. In addition to the classic cocktails and alcohols, they also offer snacks. Giant screen for sports events. A veritable institution for night owls. The atmosphere is electric at the end of the evening, very local and good-natured, and you often come out at daybreak, realizing just how quickly time flies in Diego! The owner, Monsieur Pichon, also runs the New Bar just around the corner, on Rue Colbert. The New Bar doubles as a before andafter bar, as well as a nice place to enjoy lobster on the terrace at lunchtime. All in all, it's a great place to eat, at very reasonable prices. We recommend these two addresses!

La Vahinée is an institution for the early evening in Diego-Suarez: the concerts (saxophone, jazz, salegy and even deep into the bush, 50s/60s...) draw crowds who then finish the evening at the nearby Taxi Be. You can eat here all day long, in continuous service, and the menu includes traditional steak frites, grilled fish and beef tongue in hot sauce. Nota Bene: concerts are now held two or three times a week. A good address that mixes tourists and residents.

On the floor, there is a bar with billiards which also makes a restaurant (it is quite good, a pleasant surprise). Pleasant ambience, dancing pub style. Friendly service.

Cab Be remains the place to be in Diego. Open every day, it comes alive from 11pm-midnight, when customers from other bars in town join the dancefloor to prolong the evening. With live concerts on Wednesdays and a packed line-up, a good atmosphere is guaranteed. As with other discos in the country, it doesn't take long to figure out what most of the young ladies are looking for. Here, as everywhere else in Diego at night, be careful with your personal belongings and watch out for pickpockets, especially on Saturday nights.
