The fishing village of Ambatomilo is worth a stop: the famous dhows are regularly released there, these superb wooden boats built by hand in this tradition coming from the Breton lineage. It is also an opportunity to discover a welcoming population. The site is famous for its seaweed culture, used today for the production of jelly. We can watch the lines at low tide and observe how women practice this culture. Afterwards, the magical forest of Mikea begins and the first imposing baobabs appear. A delight for nature lovers, both on the land and sea side.
