After Ilakaka, the RN 7 follows the Isalo massif, crosses the village of Maninday, then arrives at Sakaraha, both a stopover for bush cabs and a possible stopover to visit the Zombitse National Park. Since the sapphire rush in the region, many stores have opened their doors recently: you can stop there to find the jewel of your dreams... You can eat and sleep in the hotely gasy, and do some shopping: fabrics, soubiques, hats abound along the road. The market is very lively. On Saturday evening, in the hangar which is used as a night-club, the atmosphere is hot. Not a tourist in sight.
