A 387- and 275-meter-long footbridge in Kehl for pedestrians and cyclists crossing the Rhine.
The Passerelle des Deux Rives is a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists that spans the Rhine. A symbol of Franco-German friendship, it was designed by the Parisian architect Marc Mimram between the cities of Strasbourg and Kehl. The structure is distinguished by its double footbridge, one 387 meters long and the other 275 meters long, more curved, and linked 12 meters above the Rhine. One is reserved for pedestrians and the other for cyclists. This footbridge is the centerpiece of the Jardin des Deux Rives, a cross-border public park.
