At the mouth of the Nkomi lagoon, named after the first ethnic group that inhabited it, but better known as the Fernan Vaz lagoon, Omboué is easily reached by river from Port-Gentil and by a beautiful 93 km long tarred road, punctuated by three bridges, one of which is nearly 5 km long and spans the Ogooué river. The village serves as a supply point for the entire region, which explains the fact that there are two CKdo, while there is only a small center that you can cross in 5 minutes! From Libreville, it is possible to reach Omboué by road, but once you leave the Nationale 1, the track becomes difficult.
