It is also called "Hippodrome Maurice Jan" or "Hippodrome de Pontorson - Mont-Saint-Michel": this 1,200-metre sand track with a left-hand rope allows regular trotting races to be held, in a splendid setting, with the beautiful silhouette of Mont only a few kilometres away. The adjacent facilities (building, grandstands) are modern, and the races, some of which are very popular, are mainly organised during the summer period.
