EMANCIPAÇÃO DE BÚZIOS

The anniversary of the political-administrative "emancipation" of Armação dos Búzios on November 12, 1995, is a great popular celebration during four days, from November 12 to 15, in the streets of the famous seaside resort. Every year, on the morning of November 12, starting at 8:00 a.m., a parade begins with the participation of students from all municipal schools, civil servants, civil entities, musical groups from the region and the presence of municipal public authorities. The seaside resort has its civic life that comes alive for 4 days.
