The Bananaland restaurant, not to be confused with Paraty's Banana da Terra, has been a popular spot in Buzios for a quarter of a century. Chef Beto, who owns the place, has succeeded in making Bananaland a compromise between good food and affordable cuisine. Just off Santos-Dumont Square, this high-flying "kilo" offers a good variety of very good dishes (25 salads and 25 hot dishes). The moqueca is unforgettable. It's not a bar, it's a good fish restaurant. There are excellent moquecas, (vegetarians and vegans can enjoy excellent vegan moquecas ), succulent lobsters, fisherman's salad, grilled fish and squid. We were seduced by a plate of pink conger eel. Some customers were converted to seafood even though they weren't necessarily fans of it, that is to say. Admittedly, the restaurant is simple, but the decor and the dishes are worth the trip to Porto da Barra.

The chef Marcelo works with as much happiness fish, seafood and meats. Here, the appetizer will be the breathtaking view of the Ferradura beach. The team of waiters around chef Rodrigo is very professional. A hanging garden on the sea... To discover absolutely if you can afford it, because at Buzios as elsewhere quality has a price.

A fixture in the heart of Búzios for 25 years, Bar do Zé (which is not just a bar, but one of Búzios' top-rated restaurants) has made a name for itself with its fine cuisine featuring fish and sweet-savory combinations, such as grouper with banana and cashew nuts, and its setting facing Praia do Armação, on the Orla Bardot. Its straw hut style gives it a rustic chic feel. Candlelit evenings add to the romanticism of the place. Seating close to the terrace with a view of the sea lends itself perfectly to dinner for two.

Argentinean restaurant, to satisfy the strong community of holidaymakers hermanos (brothers, that's how Brazilians call their southern neighbors). Obviously, the best meat in asado (barbecue) in all its forms: picanha, entrecote, olho de bife... All to be accompanied by a good bottle of Malbec. Very pleasant patio. Tango shows are offered on Tuesday nights. Obviously, if you don't like meat, you will lose a bit of the soul of this restaurant which puts forward the Argentinean traditions.
