OAK LONG BAR
Read moreA chic bar in the no less chic and luxurious Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. A great choice of cocktails and wines to enjoy in this place voted best bar in the city by Boston Common Magazine in 2022. The Oak Bar (whose decor is reminiscent of English officers' clubs in the Orient) is undoubtedly one of the most elegant bars in the city, but it is also an excellent restaurant. One can easily come to dine there while sipping some delicious cocktails perfectly made. The service is neat, and the subdued atmosphere very pleasant.
SONSIE
Read moreThe place is mostly known for its restaurant, its efficient service and its Sunday brunches, but don't forget the bar, often crowded, very nice to just have a drink or wait for a table. You can take advantage of many promotions, like the oysters at half price on Monday afternoons when you sit at the bar, or the beer and pizza combo for the modest sum of 12 US$. The offers change regularly but they are written on the mirror behind the bar. The atmosphere is elegant and bourgeois, very Back Bay.
