Characterful Alsace wines, a typical gîte and a winery to visit: discover the charm of Domaine de la Vieille Forge.

Denis Wurtz has a degree in oenology and manages his beautiful 10 ha estate. He produces wines that are highly appreciated for their straightforwardness. Some good wines to taste during your visit: Pinot Noir (excellent wine for ageing in oak barrels), Héphaïstos (100% pinot blanc, gris and noir), Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives (racy, powerful and concentrated). Note that the Domaine de la Vieille Forge has a very picturesque gîte that can accommodate 5 guests in complete comfort.

Gîtes de France (3 épis). By appointment, tasting and tour with the winegrower of the Chemin des Grands Crus. Small groups, on request: tour of the vineyard, cellar and wine-making equipment. 5-person gîte rental (Gîtes de France 3 épis), with fully-equipped kitchen and barbecue. Private parking.

Arrivé à l'improviste chez ce vigneron de talent. Nous avons été reçu comme des rois ses riesling sont très bon.
Beaucoup d'humour et de sympathie, nous avons déguster dans une ambiance comme à la maison.

Nous cherchions un logement en Alsace et c'est par hasard que nous sommes tombés sur ce gîte. L'appartement est situé dans un domaine viticole au milieu de la route des vins, il est très grand et entièrement équipé. Les hôtes sont très chaleureux et nous ont beaucoup parlé du vin. Nous le recommandons vivement !
