Denis Wurtz has a degree in oenology and manages his beautiful 10 ha estate. He produces wines that are highly appreciated for their straightforwardness. Some good wines to taste during your visit: Pinot Noir (excellent wine for ageing in oak barrels), Héphaïstos (100% pinot blanc, gris and noir), Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives (racy, powerful and concentrated). Note that the Domaine de la Vieille Forge has a very picturesque gîte that can accommodate 5 guests in complete comfort.

You will surely find what you are looking for, as with the "chauffe-moi", a munster type cheese that will sublimate your winter evenings.

You can discover these excellent wines at the cellar, 14 rue de Hoen, or at the store on the Wine Route. I especially like the Pinot Gris Grand Cru Mambourg and the Crémant Brut Clos Sainte Odile (100% chardonnay, vinified as an extra-brut): two little wonders with incomparable flavors!
