This former lockhouse on the Vire à la Taute canal traces the history of river navigation in the region. The site is accessible on foot, by bike or by boat, as the canal is the stopover point for the Rosée du Soleil. Here, total peace and quiet are guaranteed, and you can relax for a while, sleeping in the sun or admiring the incredible flora and fauna of this magical place. Endroit charmant où il fait bon se restaurer apres une traversée des marais de Carentan, où l'accueil est chaleureux et où vous pouvez déguster des produits locaux (cidre, pommeau, fromages, teurgoule...) au bord de la Taute, fleuve bien connu de la Manche !!

Balade agréable le long de la taute et dans les marais. Lieux chargés d histoires .

N'hésitez pas à faire la balade sur la Taute, ça vaut le déplacement ! Et la plancha de charcuterie à la maison des Ormes que du bonheur !
