The hotel is a real marvel for the city, now a convent and home to the Notre-Dame institution.
It was built by the Auxais de Sainte-Marie-du-Mont family in the 17th century. It later became the Augustinian convent and is now home to the Notre-Dame institution. It should be noted that the porch has been walled up, and this was the case about a century ago: it is mainly through this that one remembers that it was indeed a private mansion. The sharpest eyes will notice that the place was - again, a long time ago - raised by one floor. The hotel is one of those wonders in a city that has many.

Hôtel de Lessey 50500 Carentan-Les-Marais
L'Hôtel de Lessey est une imposante bâtisse, ancien hôtel particulier qui abrite maintenant l'institution Notre-Dame. Le porche, bien que muré, se laisse deviner et reste très beau.
