The place is legitimately very popular with tourists because this vast 17th-century building was itself liberated by the Americans in the summer of 1944, and you can feel it: indeed, there is no shortage of objects from that time, and you will quickly be immersed in history. Même si l'endroit est sympa et propre, nous avons été mal accueillies, donc nous n'avons pas vécu un bon moment :s
Tout a commencé, car nous avons eu un empêchement qui a provoqué arriver un peu tard.
Nous avons appelé pour communiquer la situation, mais une fois arrivé même pas un simple BONJOUR, la personne n'a pas été sympa avec nous, ce soir, on a eu la pluie et on était avec un bébé donc pour s'installer s'était déjà un peu compliqué et cette personne n'a pas eu de patiente ou bienveillance, le lendemain, même si on était deux familles ensemble, il nous a mis dans des tables séparées, bref, on n'a pas pu profiter des installations, car personnel très désagréables avec nous, dommage, car l'hôtel est joli, mais cette expérience a été très négative pour nous
Over de B&B niets dan goeds. De kamers zijn ruim, schoon en in stijl ingericht. Het ontbijt in de mess is zeer goed verzorgd en ruim voldoende. De mess is ook in stijl aangekleed met de nodige spullen uit WO2. Erg leuk!
De eigenaren hebben ons erg goed geholpen met tips voor bezienswaardigheden en restaurants die de moeite waard waren. Als je het kan reserveren is een jeeptour door de dropzone een aanrader. Met Carli als gids hebben we veel gezien en gehoord over wat er zich 81 jaar geleden heeft afgespeeld. Daarnaast heeft hij ons ook wat locaties uit Band of Brothers laten zien met het bijbehorende verhaal.
Kortom, deze B&B is een aanrader als je op zoek bent naar een mooie, bijzondere en comfortabele B&B waar je ook nog de nodige achtergrondinformatie bij krijgt over de geschiedenis ter plaatse.
