Hadrout, the main town in southern Artsakh, located some 50 km from Stepanakert, is a large agricultural village, still isolated, awaiting the planned 3rd Artsakh-Armenia axis, which is to link it to Kapan, in southern Armenia, and on which it is counting to develop. Surrounded by vegetation, the old centre, with its few winding, steep alleys lined with traditional houses and flanked by large arcaded wooden balconies, is not lacking in charm. And its surroundings are also worth a visit.
