FLANK BURGUNDY
Brewery located in the heart of Bruges, offering an opportunity to discover the most romantic brewery in the world.
Flanders Burgundy, Blonden Os, Bruinen Os
After more than fifty years of interruption, the Burgundy of Flanders is again produced in Bruges since the fall of 2015. It was Anthony Martin, boss of the John Martin Group, who relaunched the activity in the attic of a listed building. The building is located about fifty meters from the Den Os brewery, which ceased operations in 1957. The Bourgogne des Flandres (5% vol.) is a blended beer. A first high fermentation beer, brown (Bruinen Os), is brewed in Bruges. This result is blended with lambic from Timmermans (Itterbeek, Flemish Brabant), a brewery also owned by John Martin. The Burgundy of Flanders is thus mixed fermented (top and spontaneous). On the first floor, a bar with a view on one of the city's famous canals allows you to taste the local beers and other John Martin brands.
