CHOCOLATE MUSEUM
Read moreChoco-Story, Bruges' chocolate museum, is located in the 16th-century "Huis de Crone" building on Sint-Jansplein. The museum traces the 5500-year history of chocolate through a unique collection of over a thousand objects. It plunges visitors into the fabulous world of chocolate and takes them on an exciting adventure through time, to be experienced intensely with the eyes, nose and mouth. Visitors can discover the origins and evolution of chocolate, the methods of production, the ingredients used and taste chocolate products made on site. The museum also boasts a demonstration center where the secrets of high-gloss chocolate are revealed. Choco-Story is a private initiative of the Van Belle family, passionate about chocolate, and is supported by Belcolade, the last remaining Belgian-owned chocolate manufacturer.
