Surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and citrus fruits, Locri is a modern town on the Ionian coast. A seaside resort that has become important over time, it owes its development to its privileged location, near an archaeological site. The ancient Greek city that gave it its name, the famous Locri Epizefiri, is in fact one of the most visited places in Calabria. Founded by Greek settlers from the Locrida region of mainland Greece, the city enjoyed a golden age in the 6th and5th centuries BC. The epithet Epizefiri refers to the first settlement of the Greeks, 20 km to the south, near Capo Zefiro. Here you will find a sufficient hotel infrastructure
